Job Description

Position Summary:

We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our property management and maintenance team. This role is responsible for maintaining high aesthetic and functional standards across our residential and/or commercial properties. From unit turns to common areas and exterior touch-ups, you'll play a key role in making sure our properties look their best and feel like home.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and paint interiors and exteriors of residential units, offices, and common areas
Perform drywall patching, taping, texturing, sanding, and caulking as needed
Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure proper protection of floors, fixtures, and furniture
Match paint colors and finishes; keep records of paint types and color codes per unit
Perform minor repairs related to painting work (e.g., trim, baseboards, minor carpentry)
Collaborate with maintenance team during unit turns and renovations
Assist in maintaining a paint inventory and supply list
Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
Maintain professionalism and respect while working in occupied units or around residents
Travel between multiple properties, as needed (company vehicle may be provided)

Qualifications:

4+ years professional painting experience (residential, commercial, or multi-family)
Proficiency in prepping surfaces, rolling, brushing, and spraying techniques
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, professional finishes
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor for extended periods
Basic knowledge of drywall repair, masking/taping, and minor carpentry preferred
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Willingness to work flexible hours and assist with other maintenance tasks as needed
